Brookside presents a largely materialistic and relativistic worldview, focusing on the struggles and realities of working-class life without strong reference to a transcendent moral framework. Characters often face difficult circumstances and make choices driven by immediate needs, emotions, and societal pressures rather than clear biblical values.
