Ian Sparks' initial motivation to fight crime stems from the traumatic loss of his parents, a noble pursuit in itself, but his methods and subsequent fall from grace—including engaging in a 'line of work void of morals' and potentially prostitution—reveal a relativistic worldview where justice is often sought outside of established moral or legal boundaries. This stands in stark contrast to Christian principles of seeking justice through righteous means, emphasizing mercy, and adhering to law and order. Character morality in the film is complex and largely devoid of clear biblical virtue. Characters are driven by passion, revenge, and self-preservation, with little evidence of genuine repentance, forgiveness, or grace.
